Devkund Waterfall is located in Bhira Patnus, It is the confluence of three waterfalls and is said to be the origin of Kundalika River.
A major part of the trek goes through some semi-dried forests with the river running parallel and sometimes crisscrossing through the route.
The forest around the waterfall is beautifully green and dense with many species of animals and birds.

A Trip of a Lifetime – Perfectly Orchestrated by Hriday from Wanderlusters!
I recently completed the Chardham Yatra (May–June 2025) with two of my friends — an all-girls trip — and it was nothing short of magical. The entire experience was curated and organized by Hriday, the owner of Wanderlusters, and I can confidently say: he nailed it.
From the moment we landed to the moment we returned, everything was seamlessly taken care of. The stays he chose for us at the base of each Dham were absolutely stunning — nestled in nature, peaceful, and just what our souls needed. Every hotel check-in, booking, and detail was handled so smoothly that we didn’t have to lift a finger.
The car and driver he arranged for us were also fantastic — making our road journeys comfortable and enjoyable. We soaked in the scenic beauty, stopped at little food stalls, and just took in the vibe — all without a care in the world.
A special shoutout to Hriday for managing our helicopter bookings to Kedarnath — we were immensely grateful for that. He also ensured we had smooth, soulful darshan experiences across all the Dhams, even helping us with VIP access where needed.
This trip exceeded every expectation I had. The stays, the travel, the food, the darshans — everything was so thoughtfully arranged and executed. It’s a journey that will stay etched in my memory forever.
